14th General Assembly of EPhEU Held in Vienna

On October 3rd, 2025, the 14th General Assembly of the European Association of Employed Community Pharmacists in Europe (EPhEU) took place at the Apothekenhaus in Vienna, Austria. The event brought together delegates from across Europe to share insights, discuss national updates in community pharmacy, and shape the future direction of the association.
The Assembly’s key agenda item was the election of a new Executive Board, marking the beginning of a new term dedicated to strengthening EPhEU’s role as the collective voice of employed community pharmacists in Europe.
The newly elected leadership team is as follows:
- President: Andreas May (Germany)
- Vice President: Philippe Floquet (France)
- General Secretary: Katarina Fehir Šola (Croatia)
- Treasurer: Norbert Valecka (Austria)
- Executive Board Members: Caroline Wehrle Willer (FRA) and Katarina Milošević Kostandinović (Montenegro)
During the meeting, representatives of member states presented updates on developments in pharmacy practice, highlighting innovative approaches, workforce challenges, and opportunities for professional advancement across Europe.
EPhEU was also pleased to welcome Montenegro as a new ordinary member, further expanding the association’s European network and reinforcing its mission to represent and support community pharmacists across the continent.
The Assembly reaffirmed EPhEU’s commitment to promoting dialogue, fostering solidarity, and advancing the professional identity of pharmacists in the interest of public health and the communities they serve.
